Kitiara Blue Media was created in 2016 by Nikki Ackerman as an outlet for her own work. However, she discovered there was a need for “script doctors” right in her own backyard.
Nikki’s received a Bachelor of Arts in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Full Sail University upon her return from a tour of duty in Iraq.
“When your story is ready for rewrite, cut it to the bone. Get rid of every ounce of excess fat. This is going to hurt; revising a story down to the bare essentials is always a little like murdering children, but it must be done.”
